Volunteer.

Feel energised.

Should you like to help us build a new kind of politics, there are lots to do! Feel energised to participate in any of the specified roles and work with us. If you feel that you need more information or simply wish to have an in-depth chat about assisting PIOC, then feel free to contact us.

Talk to voters.

Door knocking is about having conversations with voters face to face. It helps us understand what people care about, allows us to talk about how a vote for PIOC can make a difference throughout Orihuela Costa and in each community, and crucially, helps us find out which voters are planning to vote PIOC on election day.

Deliver leaflets.

The goal of delivering flyers and leaflets is to inform potential voters of the lack of progress on the coast and entice them to support PIOC and help to create a difference. Next, we will need to remind current supporters of important events/activities within the area. Finally, businesses will need to be encouraged to engage with PIOC in any way possible.

Connect with communities.

Connecting with individual communities can be vital in gaining popularity but also in vitally assisting people in real need. Engaging with presidents of communities via phone calls, emails or even in person can help to identify communal issues impacted by lacking services, utilities and else more.

Engage with businesses.

Businesses and especially some business owners may not be openly able to support PIOC. However, they may be able to spread the word about PIOC efforts in other ways. Engaging with all manner of businesses can be beneficial in some way for PIOC, whether through, displaying posters, presenting handout materials, hosting events, supplying food & beverages, and so much more. We need volunteers who can create and maintain a relationship with businesses.

Social network.

I will share the message online

Social media has been at the forefront of PIOC for the first fours years since its inception. However, constantly developing social media posts, marketing the party and engaging user comments requires constant maintenance and management. Directing users to the PIOC website is the goal.

Hands-on.

If engaging with the public is something that is not comfortable or convenient for you then there are alternative workloads that require volunteers. Ranging from, managing financials, organising roles, responsibilities & duties, Creating & tracking to-do lists, planning & spending budgets and much more.
