A heartfelt update from PIOC and season's greetings
As we approach the end of the year, we wanted to reach out and share a few important updates from all of us at PIOC.
1. Reflecting on Our Journey:
As you may know, PIOC, formed by dedicated local residents of Orihuela Costa, operates on a purely voluntary basis. After the intensity of the local elections in 2023, our team, having been actively involved since November 2018, needed a moment to pause and reflect. Despite falling just short of gaining a councillor seat, we have not ceased our efforts in supporting our community. This period of quietude was not a halt in our activities but a necessary breather, preparing us for the plans we have laid out from 2024 up to the next elections.
2. A Thank You to Our Members:
We are immensely grateful for the unwavering support of our PIOC supporters. Your belief in our common cause continues to be the driving force behind our endeavours. Excitingly, we have received several new membership requests, and we are eager to start processing these from the beginning of 2024. Additionally, we are planning to initiate monthly meetings with all PIOC members to foster our collective vision and efforts.
3. Season's Greetings:
As we bid farewell to this year and welcome the new one, we want to extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. May your Christmas be filled with joy, and the New Year bring new opportunities and happiness.
